When a condition isn't visible, the context has to travel with you
Autism, epilepsy, chronic pain, mental health conditions, and many other disabilities are not obvious to a stranger. In an emergency, a responder may read distress or silence as something else entirely. A profile that explains the situation in plain words changes how people respond.
What to put in the profile
- How the person communicates: non-verbal, limited speech, or does not respond well to questions
- What helps: a calm voice, space, avoiding touch without warning, a preferred way to be addressed
- Known triggers such as loud noises, bright lights, or crowds
- Medications, allergies, and conditions that change treatment
- Two or more emergency contacts who will answer, with their relationship
How MyAllyFile helps
- Responders scan a QR code with any phone camera. No app and no account.
- Free-text notes let you write the exact guidance a responder should follow.
- A PIN keeps the details private from anyone who just finds the code.
- Your emergency contacts are alerted when emergency access is used.
- Put the code on a wristband, backpack tag, sticker, or phone lock screen.
